313 - 'Sheba' Original Oil Painting by William Joseph Verdult

This original 22" x 28" oil on canvas was created by the "Dutchmaster," artist William Joesph Verdult (1939-2016). Verdult studied under old masters in Rome, Belgium, Holland, France and the U.S. Considered to be one of the most versatile and contemporary artists in the world, he came to the U.S. in 1950, ultimately settling in California in 1961 aftering living in South Dakota and New York. Through the late sixties and seventies, Verdult's career took off and he was awarded 'Artist of the Year' by the Orange County, Costa Mesa Art League. Incorporating classical, traditional, modern, and avant-garde in his style, celebrities and investors such as Frank Sinatra, Paul Newman, Elvis Presley, Farrah Fawcett, Robert Redford and more were drawn to his work.

Finish framed size is 29" x 34.5". The painting is in excellent condition.
